My Journey

In late 2015, life forced me to pause. A mental health crisis shook the foundation I had built my life upon, and in the stillness that followed, I found something unexpected—my voice. What began as a way to ease the noise in my mind—scribbling thoughts in journals, penning emotions that felt too big to carry—became the spark that ignited my passion for writing.

That personal path of healing turned into a professional purpose.

Writing became more than a release; it became a calling. That calling expanded into podcasting, where I could amplify the voices of others and explore the beautiful complexities of the human experience. Eventually, I founded my own independent publishing platform to empower emerging authors to tell their stories on their own terms—authentically, boldly, and without compromise.

Today, I wear many hats—author, podcaster, and independent publisher—but they all stem from one truth: storytelling saved me, and now I help others share stories that just might save or inspire someone else.

Mission and Values

My mission is to build authentic relationships that inspire growth—personally, professionally, and creatively. I believe in the transformative power of storytelling, whether it’s in a book, over the mic on a podcast, or during a coaching session with a writer finding their way.

Through my work, I create safe spaces for others to unpack their stories, develop their voices, and publish with power. Whether it’s a one-on-one strategy session or a 6- to 8-week virtual cohort, I guide aspiring authors through the journey of independent publishing—nurturing not only confident storytellers but connected communities built on collaboration and authenticity.

I value vulnerability, intention, and joy—yes, joy. Because growth isn’t always easy, but it should always make space for laughter, celebration, and humanity.

Fun Facts

Let’s keep it real—when I’m not knee-deep in manuscripts or planning podcast interviews, I’m probably doing one of the following:

  • Sipping on a good cup of coffee like it’s a sacred ritual (because it kinda is).
  • Crafting diaper cakes for moms-to-be—yes, I’m that friend who shows up with something handmade and heartfelt.
  • Rewatching old episodes of Scandal or any interview featuring Kerry Washington (my forever favorite).
  • Secretly dreaming of the day I get to have brunch with Kerry. Honestly? That would be the best gift a girl could ask for.
